SJS Laser is a subcontract laser cutting specialist based in Rotherham, in the heart of the UK's steel industry.

We've been cutting metal since 2012. We run 24 hours a day. We have a team of six technical sales staff who know what they're talking about.

And we're an Employee Ownership Trust, which means every person here has a reason to care about the quality of your parts.

Whether you're sending us a DXF or a photo on WhatsApp, we'll get you a quote and get your parts cut.

We process a wide range of metals and alloys, from 0.5mm to 30mm in thickness. Our cutting beds go up to 4,000 x 2,000mm.

How It Works

Three steps. No fuss.

1. Send us what you’ve got
CAD file, PDF drawing, a sketch, a sample, or a WhatsApp photo. We accept DXF, DWG, STEP, STL, NC, 2D and 3D formats. No CAD? Our drawing office can help you turn your requirements into a cuttable file.

2. Get your quote
Our technical sales team will turn your enquiry into a quote as fast as we can. Placing the order is an email or a phone call.

3. We cut it and get it to you
We run a 24-hour operation across CAD, planning, cutting and bending. Which means if your order needs to go overnight, it can. Once complete, we can deliver on our own transport, send it via overnight courier, or you can collect.

Fast delivery isn’t a premium option here. It’s just how we work.

    If your parts need to be bent or tapped, we can handle that too. In the same facility. Without adding another supplier to your supply chain.

    Bending
    We use advanced press brake technology to form complex shapes with precision and repeatability. If you need parts bent to a specific angle or profile, we can quote for cut-and-bend as a single job.

    Tapping
    Clean, consistent threads added to your cut parts before delivery. Ready-to-assemble. No extra step needed at your end.
